"Professional and courteous. We hired several contractors to help us do a large renovation project and had many struggles with the other contractors, but these guys were excellent at communicating, were patient with us, and overall great to work with. Highly recommend."

"Edgar called within a half hour of posting my need. He was at the house as soon as he finished the job he was on. AND this was New Years Eve day! He quoted a price over the phone and it was very reasonable. He completed the work in half an hour and left. Within 5 minutes of his leaving, the noise happened again. I called him, he was back, and worked another half hour on a very mysterious issue. He trouble shot everything and finally found the problem and it was not associated with what we thought it was at all. He didn't charge us for coming back although we tipped him a little extra. We have found a new electrician. Thank you Edgar!"

"All-American Pro was a great choice. Corey and Joni have put together a great team. When Corey and Joni came to the house for the estimate we had some questions. After discussing what we had planned he made some suggestions we happily followed. We agreed on the estimate so the next day we purchased 6 new fixtures. The day of the repair, Corey and Joni came to the house and introduced us to 2 of their electricians, Dallas and Danny. After about 4 hours, they were done. We couldn't be more satisfied and have them scheduled for more work. Honest, fair and professional is the best description."

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
