He reassured me that the roots seemed to be dead and shouldn't cause me any issues but I decided to have them removed anyway - so I hired Jay. He and his crewmate came the very next day and not only removed the roots but also took great care to reseed and place hay over the seeding to protect the area. I'd recommend him 100 percent - and I will to my friends and neighbors!"

They removed undergrowth including poison ivy and very established/overgrown shrubbery quickly and thoroughly, while carefully avoiding damage to neighbor's invisible dog fence. The work was complicated because it was on a steeply sloped berm, but the Hoffman crew used hand tools and an excavator to tame the jungle. They even removed an established walnut tree that was in the way. When finished, the area was smoothed and seeded with grass that looked great in just a few weeks. I'm elated with the tidy results."
