I was not in a position to pay for this out of pocket. This company was willing to work with me to get the work done, even allowing me to make the deposit in payments and went out of their way to get it done quickly. When they started the work, they discovered a lot of the plywood sheets were rotten and there was no framing support around one corner of the roof. They had to reframe the whole section. "11-5-2021 Dabella employees Kyle and Eldric came to our home on the NW Oregon coast and gave us a bid on a complete roof, gutters, skylights and fascia board replacement for our home. This was the 2nd time Dabella had been to our home to present their roof system, and project bid to us. After the 1st bid, we decided to wait and focus our finances on a different home improvement project. This decision was in no way based on any aspect of Dabella's bid. It was solely influenced by priority. Both presentations were a bit long. However, the information provided about their roofing system was thorough and easy to understand. Eldric and Kyle conducted a brief and efficient inspection of the roof upon arrival. Clearly they knew what they were looking for. Their inspection inside the attic and outside revealed problems we knew already existed, and a couple we not aware of. Eldric and Kyle were professional, knowledgeable, and listened to what was important to us. Their presentation was informative and eye opening. They gave us plenty of opportunities to ask, and answer any questions we had. After all was said and done, we decided that Dabella was the right company to do the job. You/we, don't just hand over sums of money to just any one, and say "Hey tear off and replace my roof!" There has to be trust and confidence in the company to do exactly what they say they will do. In a timely and reasonable fashion. Eldric and Kyle presented us with information that gave us the confidence to do just that. This decision was based on several reasons. First and foremost was cost. If you want quality, it isn't cheap. We want quality! Dabella quoted us a bid we thought was acceptable for what we want done, how the finished product will be upon completion, the materials used, and the service they will provide throughout the project. Additionally, we have done several home projects and have had difficulty finding and hiring reliable, quality construction businesses to do the work. We felt we didn't have to worry about this aspect by choosing Dabella to do the job. Dabella provided us with a project window that was acceptable to us. The work window was not our ideal preference, but Eldric and Kyle's presentation of information and assurances, gave us the confidence to trust this company to do a proper quality job, while protecting the integrity of our home through completion of the project."
