Chimney Restoration & Repair, Tuckpoint, Fire Place Installation and Repair (Non Gas)
"We are so pleased to have use of our fireplace again without worrying anymore about smoke migrating to the basement fireplace. German assessed the situation and installed a liner, new damper and sealed the caps on both fireplaces. He also noticed an issue with our water heater flue and installed a new liner and improved the venting situation in the basement. All this, for less than others quoted for just the main fireplace! And done on time, with thorough clean up, and before the holidays too! You are making the right choice if you choose GPR."

Brick & Stone, Chimney Service
"Mario and his team did an excellent job installing a chimney liner, repairing the smoke chamber and replacing the chimney cap. The job was done promptly with professionalism, respect to property inside and out. All old material was removed and the property was returned in the condition it was originally found to be. I’d like to congratulate Chicago Chimney Service Inc on a job well done. Byron R."

"Our fireplace needed to be relined. When Jon and Ron looked at the project to provide a quote they observed additional items with bricks at the top of the chimney and cracked bricks in the fire box not communicated to me by another contractor. They worked safely and professionally to repair all the issues. At the end of the project they cleaned up and provided a complete walk thru of the job."

"After reading all the reviews I decided to go with them and I’m glad I did. They were on time, very clean and thoughtful. Took their time in the inspection from top to bottom. Pictures were taken to show me what was going on and they found the upper half was new from the previous owners and the only thing that needed to be done was to clean the cobwebs out. Outside I did need a new cover due to rusting from it being years old which I new. They didn’t try to sell me on something I didn’t need ! I would highly recommend this company !!!!!!"

When you hire a housekeeper or cleaning service, there are some questions you’ll need to ask to ensure you’re hiring the right person for the job. Writing down a list of services you want to be completed is a great place to start. This way, you’ll have all the information you need when you do interview a housekeeper or cleaning service, and they can provide you with accurate information and cost estimates.
Find out upfront if the housekeeper or cleaning company offers the services you need, especially if you have requests that go beyond basic services.
Do they charge a flat fee each week? Do they charge an hourly rate? Some companies charge based on your home’s square footage or the number of bedrooms you have.
Many companies may provide some smaller cleaning supplies, but they may need to use your vacuum cleaner or mop. Others bring their own or none at all. And if you’re particular about the types of chemicals used in your home, you may want to ask what products they use or if they’re willing to use what you provide.
Anytime you have a professional in your home, something could go wrong. They could get hurt, or some of your property may be damaged. Ask what would happen in these scenarios — a well-qualified professional will have the necessary insurance and bonding to cover these situations.
