"We had a damp crawlspace. John's installed drainage with sump pumps (lead and backup with battery backup power) and encapsulated the dirt with 20 mil plastic. They also installed PU foam around the perimeter foundation walls to complete the insulation envelope of the house and a dehumidifier top keep the crawlspace area dry. In short, this work solved the problem we had and provided the added benefits of a more energy efficient and comfortable house due to the insulation as well as better indoor air quality. The work was done in four days and at considerably less cost than a competing contractor bid to do it. Another person that we had inspecting house later looked at the crawlspace and commented, "Wow! You could do brain surgery down here." We actually wouldn't recommend that though ;)"

"I have seen and heard people say that Andersen is overpriced and that they can get their windows for a lot cheaper - you are correct. BUT, you will not get the quality craftsmanship, the quality of windows and doors, and the 5-star attention from anywhere else like you would receive from Andersen. We had them complete the installation of 14 windows and two exterior doors today. The windows they replaced were vinyl, double pane, and Low-e windows. When you stood next to the old windows on a sunny day, you would feel the heat exuding into the home. When you stand next to these new ones on a sunny day, you feel nothing but the temperature of the room. I'll admit that the initial shock of the price was debilitating at first, but he did a heat lamp demonstration with our windows and their window to show what we were getting. The installers are so professional and courteous, there was even a day where they started before 8:00am and didn't leave until 8:30pm because they wanted to make sure the job was right, was going to get done on time, and was to our satisfaction. I can only give Andersen 5/5 stars for this, and we have already scheduled for them to come back and do the rest of the windows on our house."
