"Our kitchen was in desperate need for an update, but we were putting it off for years. A slow leak under the sink made it a priority as everything needed to be replaced. We interviewed three companies. It came down to two. I wanted to go with the other company, and my husband wanted to go with Construction Masters. What cinched it for me was Mickey and Moshe. They asked me questions I hadn't thought about it. They suggested ways of getting more space. Mickey said he would go shopping with me to choose what was needed. They answered all my questions and never once made me feel like I was bothering them. He also said that he could make our short deadline. Sold. Mickey and Moshe were on it. Work was started shortly thereafter, with Mickey or Moshe coming by or calling most mornings, full of energy and happiness. Even my puppy fell in love with them, who continued to answer any and all questions. Workers showed up on time, were very friendly and respectful and were real craftsmen. They listened to my questions and when I needed to make decisions were very patient with me. Through the whole process I was advised what was going to happen and when - and it did! There were no major surprises and no major costs that were unexpected. We got what we asked for, how we asked for it, when we asked for it and at a price we agreed to. Mickey and Moshe also found simple few things that would make our lives better, asked if we wanted them, and then didn't charge us for the cost of doing them (such as asking if we wanted an outlet outside so that we could close a window we had run an extension cord through, putting door stoppers on to preserve our cabinets, etc.). He saw stuff in a way I just would never see it - and I am so glad he did. I am SO happy that we found Construction Masters. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and will use him again and again for all the other "someday" projects around the house that we have."

"I hired Horizon to do a 500 sq ft home addition in 2003. While there are some hiccups, overall I am satisfied with the quality of the work and confident that the structure is sound. Just make sure that you include absolutely everything in the contract as it is much easier to negotiate before you sign. I am particularly pleased with the work of Nestor (painting and molding guy) and Jason (electrician) but disappointed that we can't move the furnace. They gave you a very clear estimate and broke down the payments in many phases which I appreciated. The communication with the project manager Michael was good but you did need to utilize your negotiation skills. I got a lot of compliments from the neighbors passing by my house and it was wonderful to move back to my familiar but better home. I am now waiting for them to add attic access which I didn't realize I needed (but was included in the project). Hopefully, it will be done soon."

"Avi and his team were fabulous. At the beginning of the process, he was the only contractor that we had spoken to that even mentioned the abatement process and how it might affect us. He was personable and friendly and made sure our need to live in the house during renovation was addressed. He stopped by regularly and had chats with us making sure we were happy with the process. Avi made sure that we knew that something might not be the best idea but if we truly wanted it he would do it. We did the kitchen, the master bedroom, master bathroom, guest bathroom, all windows, all doors including the front and garage doors. It was a huge undertaking but what a transformation. We were first time home remodelers and they walked us through every aspect of the process. When the unexpected happened, they were up front and let us know. The construction team under Luis were fabulous. We would swear Luis was a magician, the kinds of things he could get done on the spot were amazing. Definitely a man of many skills. The crew were respectful and friendly. They made sure everything was clean and livable at the end of each day. Also Joyce, the office coordinator, was awesome and we had a text thread going with her and Avi the whole time. All the permits were obtained in the proper manner and everything was done according to safety regulations.
