He came out to see my 2nd-floor flat roof and rotting deck safety railing and quoted me cheaper on the roof than 3 others but more on the lowest of 3 railing quotes -- but the other guys either wouldn't pull a permit or put the bid in writing, and some disappeared on my completely or took days to follow up. Not Mike; he stayed on it, and we were in regular contact. For example, as Mike shopped for the railing system, he called with questions and offered advice on the best way to complete the project based on what product he found. 10+ guys showed up to do the one-day job. There was slightly more work required than we initially anticipated, but that's expected. I also upgraded to add solar lighting to the deck posts.
