"He was pleasant to work with. He listened to our needs. He was willing to route our electric wiring through the attic from the fuse box to a new rv plug he installed. Walked his work so well, we had him wireournew sheds as well. He did great work. I definitely recommend him."

"Very professional. Anthony installed a Tesla outlet and cable for me. When completed the cable wouldn?t charge my daughter?s car. I immediately called Anthony and asked him if he could come check it. He said everything worked when he left, but he?d be happy to comeback . He was at my house the next day tester in hand. Everything tested OK but he still wanted to try a couple of things. I then received an email back from the EV cable company asking if I could try something. I called Anthony. He said he thinks he already did that but he?d be happy to come back. He was there the next day. Everything tested OK again. I notified the EV company of this and they sent me a new cable. As soon as I plugged it in everything worked fine. Turns out it was a bad cable and Anthony?s work was done perfectly. He handled it professionally, even though he knew it was probably not anything he did. If you?re looking a for honest pro he?s your man."

"Just like having an old friend over to help with some jobs. Very reasonably priced and willing to go the extra mile to assure customer satisfaction. Loves dogs and did not get upset when the pup stole his tools. Great experience."

"Five stars! Ed and his team are professional, knowledgeable, and very good electricians. We had a couple of lighting installation projects with Crux Electric. Ed (the owner) was very attentive to our questions and concerns and made some really good recommendations on lighting designs. On scheduled projects, his team showed up on time (as early as 7 am to accommodate our schedule!), worked really hard, and checked every light installation to ensure we are happy. After each project, his team always cleaned up. I will be reaching out to Ed for future projects and would highly recommend Crux Electric!"

"Michael Ridgeway was wonderful to work with because he listened to how I wanted the gate to be finished so it would be structurally strong. I would hire him again without any question. Michaels helper that worked along with him worked very hard. I really appreciate their work ethics. Thank you so much Michael and Tommy! Sherie"

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesNorth highlands Electricians are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 1737 reviews of 1737 pros.
