"Brian arrived on schedule, immediately identified why my from porch light didn't work, picked up a new one for me and selected a very satisfactory design and installed it, changed the associated wall switch, and made it work. He also replaced my motion light, and fixed my barbecue lights. He promised to send me a proposal for rearranging the lights on my patio. If it's reasonable (and I have no reason to doubt that it will be), I'll definitely let him do the work."

Remodel
"Jorge and the entire Midcrest team did an amazing job on my gut interior and exterior renovation. This was my first gut and I was lost and hopeless until Jorge entered the project. I had met with many contractors already and none of them believed the vision or seemed excited to get to work. After one visit with Jorge and his respectful can-do attitude, I knew he was the guy for the job. We worked together for over a year on this project through ups and downs and I could always count on Jorge and his team to do the right thing, Dependable Integrity is a spot-on slogan for this company and truly a core value they live by! Throughout the job I had multiple neighbors compliment me on how respectful the team was and how beautiful the job was turning out. All of which is very hard to find in a contractor! If you are looking for a stand-up company and leader for your project at a fair price and beautiful result Midcrest is the one for the job!"

"True Air Mechanical is a very great company to work with. Pete our salesman was so very helpful, and patient with us. He was concerned about finding the right system and cost effectiveness for us since we are on a fixed income. He was not a pushy salesman and gave us time to do more investigation. Brian our installer was professional, perfectionist and such a pleasure to work with. He explained all aspects of the system. True Air recommended Carrier system, heat pump and ac unit."

"Job done right, not efficiently. Driving regular car instead of truck with related parts. He had to go to buy parts. Took longer than i expected (2 days instead of 1 day). He took his time and did the job very neat."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesNewport Beach Electricians are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 1749 reviews of 1749 pros.
