Project Location: Los Altos, CA Date: 02/02/24What is the nature of this job?: Repair existing water mainComment: I have a buried water line about 60' from the street meter and the house entry point. I appear to have a leak, but can't see any sign of it, especially with the rain. But when I shut the house valve off, I see the street meter spin. And I have a smart meter on the house side of the main valve and it reports about 8,000gal less usage per month than the street meter does. The house was built in 1976 and I've had a section of this water line repaired once before, about 8 yrs ago.
