"We hired JK Custom Building to demo our 1950's finished basement, bathroom and replace our basement windows. This was a project which we had been putting off for years. In the end we were amazed how quickly the job was completed and are very happy with the results. JK Builders is a professionally run company that is dedicated to delivering complete customer satisfaction. We would highly recommend them to anyone."

"INTERIOR HOUSE PAINTING PLUS MORE Extremely professional interior wall painting! Efficient, extremely courteous, neat, quality paint used, cleaned up after each job...perfect! I was truly happy with my paint project. This man painted my home as though it was his own home. Yes, there are good hard working, honest, skilled and efficient people out there with Toth Construction. This company has the best people for the job. Pride in the company is quite evident. I also had a room heat/cool unit installed----top notch job! Love the new unit, now it is a 4-season room instead of a 3-season room. Efficient, the electric bill has decreased, quiet unit, inside and out! The two young men did a very professional installation. I am completely satisfied. Thank you so much. Also, I had the whole outside of the house power washed....this contractor took the time to do such an excellent job, literally top to bottom. The siding, trim, deck, porch and sidewalks look brand new. I could not be happier with the service. Just outstanding, and, most of all, HONEST!!"

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
