"It was clear that the Arbor City fence contractor, like all of the contractors that I contacted, was very busy. Nevertheless, this company was prompt in setting -up appointments and maintaining communication with me. My fence included work on my neighbor's fence who was out of town. So, I was my neighbor's agent. Numerous details regarding the new fence that were gleaned from lessons learned from my 20-year-old fence were incorporated into the new fence. The work was expertly done without delay by an experienced team of contractors. Once they began the job, this expert team of four or five men completed the fence building in just one day. The quality of the work and wood was excellent. Because my fence resides on Green Mountain, which frequently encounters destructive winds, the contractor incorporated reinforcing elements like nuts and bolts, wood screws rather than nail as well as thicker 4" X 4" beams in key locations around the fence. The fence posts were cemented-in for added strength against the wind. Clay Beeson, who I believe is the owner of the company, prepared a clear and comprehensive cost estimate, and included at my request cost estimates for certain options that I might like to include at a later date, such as staining the fence in order to reduce weathering. The cost of the fence was somewhat higher than I had hoped, but my knowledge of the costs for such work is not good. I contacted fivel fence contractors. The only one that submitted a comprehensive estimate was the one from Arbor City. All of my conversations, both with Mr. Beeson and his staff, were cordial and business-like. I would certainly hire Arbor City again if the need arose."
