"They were perfect. The job was to replace the railing on a 2-story deck with a composite railing, which is harder than it sounds since it including working around the posts for a screened in porch. They did exactly what they said they would do, exactly when they said they would do it. They worked long hours every day (through a heat wave) and left the site immaculate. They were also very quiet. They paid attention to details to make the trex look good interfacing the the porch posts. I would definitely recommend them."

"My pressure treated deck needed replacement. I got 3 bids which I was considering but was told by a friend to check out Remodel or Renew. Mike Christopher, the Owner, came and asked me what was the main thing I was concerned about. I told him that I was looking for quality workmanship with top of the line Trex composite wood that wouldnâ  t require a lot of maintenance. He sat down with his IPad and designed exactly what I wanted. The design he made was like an actual picture of the finished product and the price was great which included the removal and disposal of the former deck. First, their builders worked long hours and I observed them as they made sure every step was done with precise measurements and the finished product showed just what I observed. Unbelievably sturdy, they didnâ  t cut corners to save time and it was absolutely beautiful. Also what I consider a huge factor is the Warranties on the work and material. A 25 year Warranty that covers scratching and fading of the Trex flooring and railings. UNBELIEVABLE! Lastly, they left the work area cleaner than before they started and Mike the Owner answered my calls or texts every time I had a question either immediately or responded within 15 minutes. All I can say about Remodel or Renew is if you give them a chance to bid on your project you will be happy and even happier if you hire them and see for yourself what I have just told you! "Although it took a bit of time to work out scheduling, I was beyond impressed with the job David and his assistant did. I own a very old home in Salem with a lot of DIY work by previous owners. My porch roof was starting to sag and collapse. David reconstructed this area of the porch and added additional support beams originally lacking in the construction. He matched the original beams and paint color perfectly to keep the integrity of my old fashioned home. His price was reasonable and he provided receipts for money spent on materials. His cleanup was also impeccable. I will be keeping David in mind for projects I have in the future."
