"Marc is a first-responder in all sense of the phrase: he was the first representative to provide professional, detailed and thorough estimated costs and time to re-roof my house. The crew, headed up by Lubo, were punctual, careful when setting up, polite and considerate. They worked extremely efficiently and quickly once they started. Like Marylouise S. in Wilmette, it was discovered that the entire roof deck required replacement as it was original to the house (1950) and basically there wasn't anything substantial left for installation of the shingles. An unexpected additional cost for sure but I know the roof and decking have been done right. The roof work was done in 1-1/2 days and the worksite was left spotless. Marc also provided a competitive and very fair estimate for his masonry professional to rebuild the chimney from the flashline up. The chimney took a lilttle longer than expected due to quirks of the original chimney construction, but the workmanship is very, very good and I'm very happy. I highly recommend Marc and Williams Roofing & Construction. And now that I have a new roof and a new chimney, if only Santa Claus would appear with his eight tiny reindeer!"

"Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"
