"Electrical Detectives removed some outdated fluorescent lights from my parentsâ home. Jason was sent out & he not only was prompt, but explained the process. He was friendly, cleaned up after the install & charged a fair price. I felt that I called the right person & will next time I am in need of electrical services. I highly recommend their services!"

"Stan did a really outstanding job for us this winter when snow downed a tree branch and disconnected our PG&E service entrance mast. The first three contractors we contacted wanted in excess of $10,000 for a new power panel and said it would take three months to do the work. We were without power in the middle of a freak snowstorm and would have died if we tried to live without power (our only source of heat) for that long in the dead of winter. Stan understood that we need an immediate fix to a life threatening condition and got the job done in just a few days. He was a life saver, and that is no exaggeration, if not for Stan getting the job done I would not be here to write this now. The total cost. . . was just $400! I was so happy with his work that I had him come back to upgrade our 100 AMP power panel to a new 200 AMP panel. He got that job done on time and a bit under budget, at less than half of what the others had quoted to replace our panel with a new 100 AMP. For half their price we got twice the power. Stan is a great person and has many great contacts with both building inspectors and utility companies because he knows how to treat people. I personally recommend Stan and Able Construction for any job, big or small. He treated me with respect and went above and beyond to be both kind and professional."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesHealdsburg Electricians are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 290 reviews of 290 pros.
