"What I thought was going to be total water heater replacement turned into an expansion tank and pressure valve replacement which Travis knew within 30 seconds of talking to me when he got to my house. Everything was seamless from confirmation via text, to letting me know that Travis was coming along with a photo of who to expect. My hot water heater is 14 years old so I know I'm on borrowed time and will be keeping your phone number handy for when the day comes that I need help with that. I never know what I'm doing with respect to home repairs and I was completely at ease and knew I was in good hands."

"Oakley was very prompt with the bidding process all the way through project completion. Bobby, the electrician, was very prompt, professional and thorough in his work. His interaction with me was very professional and courteous. They are a definite "Go To" contractor for future projects!!"

Electrical wiring & panel upgrades
"I had called around to various electricians and no one was available for 18 weeks. I got in touch with Woodline Electric and Robert had informed me he just acquired the company but would have someone contact me shortly. Within 2 days a technician was out at my house! The job was completely efficiently and quickly. From the time it took to open and close the permit for the project was 1 week. It was a pretty extensive project involving a sub-panel and panel. I would definitely recommend them!"

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
