We have piles of snow directly under each of the roof vents. The snow is now melting and causing water stains at different points in the ceiling in the house. I'm concerned about continued damage to the ceiling, and possible longterm damage to the current insulation and the the house. Do we need to replace all of the insulation or remove part of it. An added issue is there were bats in the attic a couple of years ago. We had a company investigate and determine there was not a lot of damage and there is some remaining bat dung at spots in the insulation.
