Project Location: Fairfax Station, VA Date: 02/04/24Location: HomeComment: The garage door opener motor seems to operate fine and moves the lifting piece along the track when the door is not engaged , but it will only lift the door a few inches when the door is connected to the track. It appears to me that the large spring on the mechanism is broken into two pieces. My garage is a double garage with one large door. The opener is a Chamberlain installed in March, 2023, the garage door itself was replaced in 2016.
