"Called and was able to come by 5 days earlier than scheduled. Very professional, explained everything to me very clearly. Installed a new gas line for my new dryer. Inspected furnace, only recommended what needed to be replaced. Also gave recommendations of possible future repairs. Very friendly, stayed late until the job was done right! Will definetly call again and will recommend this company to others."

"Very courteous and more than willing to work with us in the repair. He brought a faucet to replace a leaky one we had, but it was not to my wife's liking. He waited for an hour while I ran out and purchased a faucet that would pass my wifes muster and installed it and didn't charge for the wait time."

"We hired another company to install two new shut off valves in our basement. Our house is very old and actually has lead pipes coming into the house. The original plumber installed the valves and left without the water being turned back on. When it finally was turned on, there was a small leak in the compression fitting to the main line. So, we called Slades to come fix the problem. John was upfront about his service call pricing and hourly rate, and I found both to be completely reasonable. The best part of my interaction with Slades, however, is that I no longer have to worry about the problem. While my original plumber (a company that touted their decades of experience) had every excuse as to why the job could not be done properly, John simply solved the problem. Here is my highest form of praise: If I ever have another plumbing problem that I can't fix, I'm calling Slades."
