"Rusty and Jamie from Mr. Electric of McKinney came to our home to perform three different jobs: they repaired the chandelier in our foyer, upgraded the lighting fixture in our kitchen and installed a motion activated LED floodlight in our driveway. They were extremely professional, friendly and informative. They helped guide us into making the appropriate decisions regarding the electrical work we needed to have done and couldn't be more pleased with the work they performed. We would highly recommend Mr. Electric of McKinney to friends and family."

"5 stars for sure!!! Paul and his guys did such an amazing job! Met with Paul in the morning for an estimate and he gave me a quote right away. He sent his guys that same day in the afternoon. Job was done the next day! I added recessed lightings and pendant lights in our house and they did such a wonderful job! I will add pictures of the finish product and add them on YELP if you guys want to see. We are very very happy and will definitely use them again to add more lighting in the bedrooms. I recommend this company. Paul and his crew are very professional and excellent customer service!"

"I have an older home and just moved in. I had several plugs that didnât work and some switches we didnât know where they went. The technition spent a lot of time with me sorting out what went where and fixing a lot of small issues with me. He installed an new plug and grounded some new plugs for me. He also installed two new recessed lights. He spent a lot of time helping just figure this house out for a relatively small amount of work that he charged. This is the company you should go with if you want to done right and want the peace of mind."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesDallas Electricians are rated 0.0 out of 5 based on 0 reviews of 0 pros.
