"I selected Mark Besnos and Horizon for an extensive interior remodel of my home. The project included removing a soffit ceiling in about half the house, installing a new support beam to eliminate a post, wainscoting in the living and dining room, hardwood flooring in the renovated areas (except the bathrooms), two new windows, and a new fireplace mantel. Mark has excellent taste. He was great at accommodating his visits to my work schedule. A project of this magnitude is bound to encounter some challenges, and Mark was good at explaining them and presenting options. The trades who worked on my home were top notch. Mark and his team were always on top of things, communicating often via email (my preference) and also texts. The end result has exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled with my new, open concept, home. The kitchen is amazing, the fireplace is a focal point, and I absolutely love my master bathroom. We had some fun with the guest bathroom as well. Bottom line, if someone leaves me a house in his or her will and I have to remodel it, I'm calling Mark."

"I had a horrible experience with another contractor who "repaired" my balconies, only to have them fail and the contractor refuse to honor their warranty. I was very skeptical and anxious when searching for someone, not knowing whether I could count on them to do good work and stand behind it. I tried HomeAdvisor, found Pennington Construction and liked their reviews, so I called. Eric Pennington responded promptly, was professional and quickly arranged for an inspection and quote. The quote seemed reasonable and I hired them. The workers were prompt, friendly and respectful, did excellent work, cleaned up after themselves and both balconies look better than when new! Additionally, some of the work quoted was not required, so (without me saying a word) the final bill was reduced by that amount. I could not be happier with the results and the cost and, although the work was just done and there has not been time for any issues to arise, I feel completely comfortable and confident that, should a need arise, Eric and his company will stand behind their work.
