Elron was upfront and transparent about all costs, and there were no hidden fees or surprises. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Elron kept me updated on the progress of the project and was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. He was very approachable and easy to talk to, which made the whole process much smoother. He also has fantastic connections around the city for purchasing materials and went above and beyond to help with deliveries and accept shipment of materials to our small and very crowded street. When materials we needed were only available at one Floor & Décor store in south Orange County, he sent someone to pick it up on my behalf. When an appliance company dropped a 400-pound stackable washer and dryer on the sidewalk outside of our garage , Elron found movers who were working down the street to come over and help us out. This was not unusual for crews, they always went above and beyond. What really stood out to me was how Elron went above and beyond to ensure the project was completed to the highest standard. He was very detail-oriented and dedicated to making sure that every aspect of the project was perfect. His work ethic and attention to detail were truly impressive. "I had a horrible experience with another contractor who "repaired" my balconies, only to have them fail and the contractor refuse to honor their warranty. I was very skeptical and anxious when searching for someone, not knowing whether I could count on them to do good work and stand behind it. I tried HomeAdvisor, found Pennington Construction and liked their reviews, so I called. Eric Pennington responded promptly, was professional and quickly arranged for an inspection and quote. The quote seemed reasonable and I hired them. The workers were prompt, friendly and respectful, did excellent work, cleaned up after themselves and both balconies look better than when new! Additionally, some of the work quoted was not required, so (without me saying a word) the final bill was reduced by that amount. I could not be happier with the results and the cost and, although the work was just done and there has not been time for any issues to arise, I feel completely comfortable and confident that, should a need arise, Eric and his company will stand behind their work. "First off, we tried to find someone that could build a porch cover that would look like it was built with the house, and not just some cheesy looking after thought. It's really hard to find anyone willing to do any work these days. Ray and Don came out and we explained what we were looking for. They told me and my wife what their idea was for the cover, and said they'd email the estimate. A few days later we got the estimate, and honestly, it was a bit more than we were expecting. We had a few more estimates, some less money, but we just weren't comfortable with the contractors and their recommendations. About 2 weeks later, I called Ray again and asked if he'd be able to provide some form of a drawing or sketch of his idea so we could better understand what they were thinking of doing to our house. Ray said he had recently started using the Sketch Up app, and would be happy to come by and show us his drawing. That was very helpful, and was the reason we decided to go with Ray and Don. Once we signed our contract, the lumber and supplies were delivered 2 days later, and work began the same day. Don and Ray were here every morning by 8:00, and worked all day. Anytime they had a subcontractor scheduled, they made sure they were here on time, and supervised all aspects of the job. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the front porch area and made it look as if they hadn't even been there. With all the work done, it took about 2 weeks. Don and Ray were both extremely friendly, and made having the work done very easy. They were very conscientious about the fact that we were alway home, and if our dogs were in the backyard, they always made sure the gate was closed. I would definitely recommend Wishon Construction, and will probably be using them again in the near future for another patio cover project."
