"We had a problem of the well pump was running constantly to keep pressure. Called one late afternoon and they had very personable Percy out to our place at 9:30am the next morning. I expected he was going to walk around, give me a quote, charge their minimum but reasonable service fee and be on his way. Percy came ready for action if I was ready to go and, after discussing his diagnosing plans, I felt confident to go for it. Percy pulled the pump up "by hand", found a bad seal, tested the pump itself for pressure, which he stated was fine, replaced the not-looking-so-good check valve, installed an updated pressure switch (old one was early-80's) and put everything back together. THEN the follow-up test revealed another leak somewhere (built pressure but still leaked down quickly). He helped me locate a wet location outside the well shaft, confirmed the area of the leak and gave me the choices of paying him to dig, bring in a back-hoe or I start digging. I an retired so I chose to dig and by 6pm that evening I found the break in the water line to the house. I immediately called Metamora and talked with the pleasant gal still there and asked if Percy could come out in the morning to patch the leak (after that much digging I wanted an expert patch it even though Percy left me the stuff to repair it myself). Percy was there, bright and early the next morning and within an hour or so the water was on and the pressure was holding. All this great service, over two days, for under $500!! BTW, I had my kids fill in the hole - LOL I did get another estimate prior to using HomeAdvisor, waited 4 days before an estimator came out and he quoted for a well rig coming in, installing a new skinny pump, new PVC down pipe. . . and, in worse case, there is a chance I might need a new well if the old well pump doesn't come up - quote: $2500 to $3000 w/o new well drilled. Sorry, but I am not made of money! Any problems I have with the well in the future and I won't hesitate calling Metamora Water Service back again!!!! Thanks Metamora Water Service! Thanks again Percy!!"
