  Comment: There's two parts to the job. Basically, the dryer vent hood is not properly secured to the front of the house (i.e. it's free floating and can just get pulled straight out) and the hose that connects it to the dryer is detached. The first part is going to be to remove the old dryer vent hood, clean up the wall, and properly install the new one. I have already purchased the new vent hood, though I don't have the appropriate caulk or masonry screws to secure it to the exterior brick wall. The second part is, inside the house, to attach the new vent hood to the dryer. This was previously attached using a single length of flexible dryer hose and the distance is not far. I have purchased a new semi-rigid dryer hose, a 90 degree elbow, and a set of clamps. I believe this should cover all of the necessary parts.
