"Bob was hired to complete a number of projects that were lingering such as threshold installation, pocket and standard door replacement throughout the home, shower door install, ceiling drywall repair, stair railing replacement, stair nosing replacement and more. I am more than happy to recommend Bob for the following reasons, just to name a few: 1. Communication - I knew where we stood with the projects at all times. After working with several other less informative contractors, this was very important. 2. Clean - The began each day by placing drop cloths down to protect my furniture and flooring and cleaned up at the end of the day. 3. Quality of work - Each project was completed, either as agreed or exceeded the original request. 4. Price - Pricing was very competitive. The service was not the cheapest, but when considering the 3 previous factors it was a bargain! He even came back to touch up the stain on all of my doors at no additional charge. 5. Personality - His professionalism can not be overstated and he's very approachable and personable. I would not hesitate to hire him in the future."

"I had an old wood fence that was in desperate need of painting. The existing paint was peeling in multiple areas due to age and the elements. In addition, I had also previously replaced some of the boards but they were unpainted. I just did not have the time to do it myself and if I hadn't done something soon, I would have had to replace the fence. Greg, the owner of the company, came to my house, on time, for the estimate. He walked around the property with me and listened intently to what I wanted done. He was professional and provided me with a quote that gave me the biggest bang for my buck. His team showed up on a Friday to power wash the entire fence and they painted the entire thing the following Monday. I cannot express how happy I am with this company's work!!! It literally looks like I had a new fence put in. In addition, the company did some additional power-washing on the roof of my garage and painted the door of my garage. The team also gave the left-over paint to me for future use. Their quote was very reasonable and more than a third less than another quote I received. I would definitely hire Good As Gold Again and would recommend them to family and friends."

"I hired Jim to do a number of projects around the house including painting, installing a vanity/faucet in the bathroom, caulking kitchen counter area, installing bi-fold doors, installing a new door lock,. This is the second time I have hired Jim within a short period of time. He is pleasant to work with, does excellent work and is always on time. Importantly, he always asks if I am satisfied with his work. I would recommend him for any type of work around the house."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
