Residential Asphalt Contractors In Your Area

  • Apak Paving

"After doing our homework, getting multiple bids, and evaluating the knowledge & professionalism of local companies (and not so local folks that come here to make a profit) we went with A-Pak for our driveway asphalt paving. To us, the choice was very easy. A-Pak was very responsive, on-time, and highlighted areas about our driveway that we were missing in plain sight. Their explanation was logical, clear, and straight to the point, even that I (an average homeowner) could comprehend. The more we researched, the more the choice was clear. These guys are local, real, employed local folks, and have the warranty and after sales support that one would come to expect. They are flexible in their payment method and not cash/check only place that vanishes the minute the work is done with all risk left to the customer. They walked me through what to look for and how to evaluate a good job that lasts versus a superficial topical job that will collapse in no time. The work itself was very timely, professional and spot on. Everything looks great and the compliments are already flowing in. Oh, how about the price? I don't know how they do it, but it was extremely competitive and fair. So fair, that we were able to do a more extensive job than originally planned. I have no hesitation in recommending this team, and wish more folks were like them. Thanks Rebecca and Neil for the great comms, personal experience, and of course a sweet driveway. Best of Luck!"

    Gossom & Costello Paving, Inc.

"This company was quick to respond and provided a competitive quote that no one else could even come close to. They finished the job 4.5 hours when other companies tried to convince me it would be a 2 or 3 day job. The work was professional and I have already recommended them to several neighbors."

    Paving Specialist

"I was lucky enough to come across Paving Specialists through this site. I've never been to their office and only spoken with them over the phone. On the basis of one review (which was glowing), I hired this company to rework my driveway. I never saw the work because I live out of state. A neighbor who does work for me though, was so impressed with this company's job performance, he asked them to redo his driveway. Can't get a better endorsement than that! Job done on time as promised and obviously delivering expected results. Gave them five stars because I couldn't give them six! Need paving? Look no further."

    La Terre Construction Co.

"Mr. Terre and four workers showed up at 7:15am. They started at 7:30am once they got all the equipment off the trailers. His company had everything they needed. Mr. Terre watched everything to make everything was completed correctly. In less than four hours, everything was completed. They cleaned up all the mess in our yard and on the street. We did talk with him several times as they were doing different parts of the project. He made sure we were satisfied with everything and answered any questions we had before everything was completed. Mr. Terre did say the project had been underbidded but that was his problem not ours."

Concrete driveways can start to develop cracks from harsh weather. That's why more and more people are turning to asphalt driveways. Asphalt can better withstand extreme temperatures without cracking. It is also becoming popular in warm regions.

Whether for a driveway, path, basketball court, or some other surface, asphalt offers other advantages including:

  • It is typically less expensive than concrete - $2 to $5 per square foot vs. $3 to $10 per square foot for concrete
  • It can be driven on almost immediately.
  • It is easire to repair. Cracks and holes can be filled and sealed.
  • Oil leaks are not as noticeable

Hiring local asphalt contractors can do more than save you money on materials and transportation costs. Local companies know about the local soil and how to install driveways with good drainage and a strong foundation. This is important because the wrong process makes your driveway vulnerable to shifting, droughts, and sudden rainfall. Look for asphalt installation companies that can also reseal and resurface your driveway to help keep it looking good over the years.
