"We had hired contractors to remove diseased trees before but this was our first time asking an arborist to assess and prune our trees. We were hoping to bring more sunlight into our deeply shaded urban backyard. Upon arrival, Alec quickly grasped our situation and offered several suggestions that were both practical and aesthetic. He educated us on species characteristics of our trees and how to care for both them and their impact on our property. On the day of the job, he and his assistant arrived promptly and set to work with focused intent. I saw that pruning, done well, is a both a science and an art. After the work was complete, our trees looked balanced and healthy. Branches no longer hung over rain gutters and sunlight was finally making an appearance. Clean-up was completed just as we had agreed upon; branches were cut to wood stove burning lengths and twigs were bundled. Somehow, Alec found time to train me on how to prune our young Japanese maple myself. It was a positive experience from beginning to end and I would definitely recommend Lively Oakâ s services."

"Keith from Premier arrived for the estimate on the date and at the time promised. He said the removal of the 2 trees in my rear yard could be done on Tuesday. July 27 or Wed. July 28. After I had agreed to use Premier, Keith called me on Mon. July 26 and said they had a cancellation so could they come now? Of course I was happy to have the work done early. The Premier crew arrived at 10:15 am and had 2 trees removed and yard cleaned by 3:40 pm. I could not believe how quickly they completed the job. The stump from the large tree was removed the next morning. I would highly recommend Premierâ good service price and excellent work!"
