"We wanted our backyard updated with new stone, add new pavers and have all our trees trimmed including the removal of 2 trees. We solicited 3 bids and choose ‘All Seasons Maintenance Landscaping’. The main reasons for our choice were Juan’s knowledge of plants and several other excellent suggestions. Examples: When we asked about tree trimming the other bidders were just going to trim the trees. Juan suggested cutting down a tree that he felt the roots were going towards the sidewalk and our pool. Once the tree was removed you could see the roots had come right up to the sidewalk already. Also it turned out one tree had a disease (Juan could tell by how the bark looked) and he provided something that would kill the larva, timing was great since it’s almost spring (other 2 bids were just going to trim). One tree we were told was dead by one bidder, turned out Juan was able to save it and told us why we were having trouble with it growing. He also helped us decide on some new plants and recommended we have new sprinkler pipes installed as once they start removing the old stones, etc. they could break in the future or during removal. This turned out to be invaluable advice, as they were so old. None of the other bidders offered any of these suggestions or advice. The work was completed as planned, workers were on time and the cost stayed within the original quote, which he provided in writing when he gave us a free estimate. Highly recommend and would use Juan’s services again without hesitation."

"I needed my front yard completely redone, to include removal of existing dead grass, trees stumps, railroad ties, and sidewalks. Replacing it with just boring rocks was not an option. I knew what I didn't want but did not really know what I wanted. Jorge Salinas came up with a design using two different sizes of rocks (1/2" and 2' - 4"), a semi-circle planter using retaining blocks, a combination of plants, and a drip irrigation system. Jorge responded immediately to all of my questions and concerns. The two sizes of rocks create a unique contrast. I would definitely recommend Kenys Landscaping and Maintenance and Jorge. I will be using them again when it comes time to redo my side yard and back yard."
