"Quality service, I'll say this, you get what you pay for. I had recessed lights, dimmers and fixtures installed. The installation was timely! Devon was professional, courteous and provided excellent customer service. He walked me through the entire process from beginning to end and warranted all services. Thank you for providing Quality Service!"

Electrical
"We hired Parker Electric to install several new LED canned lights into our existing kitchen as well as retrofit some old cans and have a island fixture and remove old fixtures. Brian, the owner, contacted me within an hour of my HomeAdvisor submittal to review my needs and provided a very competitive written quote soon after. Once hired, we scheduled the work a few days later. David, his master recessed can electrician, arrived for the apportionment and reviewed the job, provided expert advice on the layout, and then proceeded to complete the job quickly and on budget. This included correcting some previous non code junction box issue he found without charging me extra to correct. Both David and Brian were professional, courteous and sought my input when any question came up. I would say they wanted to make sure I was extremely happy with the job before considering it completed. I would not hesitate to call Parker Electric for any further electrical work and would highly recommend you give them a chance to bid your project!! The difference with Parker is they will help you with suggestions to your project instead of just doing the work. It was a real pleasure doing business with them."

Electrical
"Gene was great to work with and very responsive. We had can lights installed on the first floor. Quote was very reasonable and he was able to start pretty quick. Great communication and showed up exactly when he said he would. This was a multi day job and at the end of each day he would pick everything up and leave the work area immaculate and put furniture back so we could use the area at night. Would highly recommend GET Electric!"

"Jeremy is very knowledgeable with pretty close to all things needed for building/remodeling. i will say that he is worth the money. I would say he is around the middle for pricing but you get what you pay for. he kept us informed with the progress if there was any sort of obstacle he told us and we were able to happily work through it."

Handyman for Small Services
"I recently hired Star Construction to install a ceiling fan and lights in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the service provided. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. They arrived on time and was courteous and respectful throughout the installation process. They demonstrated a high level of expertise, ensuring the fan and lights were securely installed and functioning perfectly. What impressed me the most was their attention to detail and the care they took to leave my home spotless after the job was done. I highly recommend Star Construction for anyone in need of a skilled and reliable professional for ceiling fan installation. I will definitely hire them again for any future electrical needs. Thank you for the outstanding service!"

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
