"The work turned into a lot more work than Any of us ever expected. What was expected to be a 1 day job turned into almost 3 days. The Crew did us a great service by making sure the Water was on by the 2nd day so we only had 1 day with out service. I can not fault the company for the delay, Most main lines are only 5-6 ft deep, Well ours was but then went deeper at one time we ended up over 10 ft and it was still deeper. Fernando made the right call in Just laying a new line that was one piece instead of what the old was in multiple pieces. This entailed a little actually A LOT of extra time and labor for them but they stayed true to the estimate and that was appreciated since this was all out of my Pocket. Great customer service and regardless of problems stuck to the task and never complained."

"We hired another company to install two new shut off valves in our basement. Our house is very old and actually has lead pipes coming into the house. The original plumber installed the valves and left without the water being turned back on. When it finally was turned on, there was a small leak in the compression fitting to the main line. So, we called Slades to come fix the problem. John was upfront about his service call pricing and hourly rate, and I found both to be completely reasonable. The best part of my interaction with Slades, however, is that I no longer have to worry about the problem.
