Marvin's quoted over $40K!! He was able to do what was needed for much much less. He was honest, professional, meticulous, extremely knowledgeable and kind. Miles above the window brand quotes which are ridiculous. Would strongly recommend if you need any window repairs!!!"

"Bob Griffin is a true professional. A list of projects he completed on my home follows . Note that I was "5-Star" impressed with his work in every area. - Soft wash of roof, exterior siding, and patio - Apply two coats of Cabot's bleaching stain to home exterior - finish all fixtures (hinges, handles, and all fixtures) - Caulk and / or putty all areas exposed ( cracks, splits, etc..) - He was hired to "soft" power wash my home and then apply two coats of Cabot's bleaching oil to the 7 year old cedar shingles. Bob showed up. on time, worked a full day, and kept me informed of all progress. The "soft" power wash left the roof and exterior of the home in beautiful condition. He also added a soft wash of the back patio; again, it came out beautiful and was a task he threw in no-charge. He applied caulk and wood putty as required to protect any cracks or gaps in the surface. He then went on to refinish all the black hinges, handles and fixtures. These details really made a difference. I was so impressed with all of the above that I asked Bob to return to paint the cellar. Once again, Bob sought the right paint and primer for the job and covered the walls and floor of this old cellar in record time. We can not get over the improvement to the home while under Bob's control. Finally, I was always so impressed with Bob's initiative. He helped declutter the cellar before starting the paint without so much as a word. His pricing is more than fair in every way. He is a very nice man and I am happy to have met him. He strives to exceed every customer's needs. He is something special and earns 5 stars in every area."

"My porch was in bad shape and it’s a rather large porch so I was worried about the safety of what I had and the price point. John came out and made me feel at ease with the process. I’m so glad I went with rau and sons. They not only replaced my porch with a safer and more appealing porch but all in all the work that was done is a1. My family and I were treated wonderfully during the job and they even stayed late in the beginning to make sure we had safe access into our home for our child and dogs. "Made my bedroom, bathroom, and den into a bedroom suite. A sliding barn door leading from the bedroom into the bathroom and sm. room with toilet in the little room for my wife to do her make up and hair. The bathroom has a new vanity, stand-up shower and 6 foot bath on the floor. With 3 closets in there with slide open doors, along with a built in closet for all bathroom amenities and more with sliding door. Remodeled our porch with windows, with sliding glass doors going out to our fire pit with a complete deck running along the side of the house and out to the pit. His incite of what to do and then how he's going to do it is amazing. He walked us through everything he was going to do and did it exactly how we wanted it. There is nothing he can't do. His price was more than fair and there were no surprises, we got exactly what we were told. He cuts no corners his knowledge of what needs to be done by looking at the job is impeccable. He starts your job, he is there until it is done. His communication is constant and he'll listen to you and anything you have to say. I have never been more satisfied with every job he's done.
