"Words can't express how pleased I am with the outcome of this issue. Craft Electric was able to do the job at a price that was well within my budget. Initially, they thought the issue could be fixed by replacing the main breaker in my panel. However, upon completion it was discovered the entire panel needed to be replaced. I was given a quote and I gave them the okay to complete the task. While the replacement of the panel did restore my electricity, it will not be the last thing that needs to be done. I will definitely use Craft Electric for the second part of this job."

"Kyle did an amazing job. His communication was great. He replaced our panel and fixed several other smaller issues around the house. We were on a tight timeline because we are selling our house, so Kyle came on a Sunday get everything done. I will use him for any future projects and I highly recommend him."

"I found Big Bear Remodeling through Home Advisor and it couldn't have worked out any better. The owner, Rob, listened to my ideas and he added in some of his own, which were supported by photos of other projects they have done. The crew was very competent, professional, friendly and courteous. They were a pleasure to work with. And the price right. Rob was always very much aware of our budget for this project. It was a very good experience and I would highly recommend Big Bear Remodeling. I now have a beautiful master bathroom, thanks to Rob at Big Bear."

For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
