I did my due diligence and had several estimates for a remodel including new returns, new filter, waterline tile, resurfacing with mini-pebble and an auto-fill. I went with OC Pools and Spa as I found OC to be professional, friendly, and responsive to my questions. OC always returned my calls in a timely fashion and his bid was extremely competitive. I spent a great deal of time asking questions and inquiring about my options. OC always took the time to patiently answer all of my questions and provide his insight and personal knowledge about my options. Initially I was told it would take 2 weeks to complete the project, but they were able to finish the job a week early - which is always nice when the temps are hitting 100 degrees. His crew always cleaned up after they left, and their work was exceptional with the finished pool turning out exactly as we had hoped. At the end of the day, I went with OC Pools based upon the exceptional customer service OC provided thru all phases of the project . "My pool/spa heater was not working right and I had family coming to visit from Colorado who wanted to enjoy a relaxing dip and soak in the pool and the Arizona sunshine. With time running out to get the heater working and after many failed attempts to fix it myself I went to Home Advisor and saw McCallum's Pool Service was highly rated so I asked for a quote thinking I probably would have to wait some time for anything to be done on the heater, especially since I thought there was a real problem going on with the pool. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the heater and found that there was also poor water flow to and from the main pool pump. He repaired the problem with new parts he carried on his truck and quickly got the very old Teledyne heater working as it should. He also advised me that there was a couple of other small things that probably should be done for the pool pump to work efficiently. The price he quoted me was very reasonable so I asked him to do what needed to be done. My pool, spa and heater are now working better than they have in years, even after being serviced by other companies. I was impressed by John's knowledge of all things related to swimming pools and how quickly he worked. From beginning to end it all happened in less than 24 hours. The total price was below what I expected and the service was superior. My company is relaxing in the Spa at this very moment. McCallum's is my new number one choice for anything swimming pool related."
