The estimator showed up ahead of schedule and was able to explain different qualities of roofing and shingles options available to me, which is great. One great thing about the company was they can get multiple jobs done at once including attic insulation and replacement of kitchen/bathroom exhausted ducts. As with any other home renovation projects, the work always came with surprises such as the discontinued chosen colour shingle , additional of steel plate around the roof edge to cover the gap, lack of ventilation intakes, and number of plywoods that needed to be replaced. Each time Mike from Ideal Roofing was able to clearly explained the situation to me and let me know the pro and con of each options for me to make the decision to proceed or not. The crew working on site showed up on time each day and worked efficiently and treated customers with respect, and clean up at end of each day. Although the job took 3 days to complete, the crew came back as promised a couple days later as promised to finish last minor remaining work. It is definitely a pleasure to work with a company that is transparent, keep communications open with customer, and deliver what is agreed or promised."
