"Frank, the owner, does great work and his employees are all from the same mold. We have used him for three homes in Southern California--we paid to have him come from the Desert to our "weekend place" in L.A. There seems to be nothing they cannot do--they tracked down rare European lightbulbs for a chandelier we ordered from Germany on e-bay; they diagnosed flickering lights from a new house that had been installed too close to the rafters by the prior owner and were intermittently turning off due to excessive heat; and they figured out how to expand a cabinet to fit our wine refirgerator (we had simply requested a new electrical outlet, but then discovered we had ordered the fridge too big! -Steve Rancho Mirage"

"Quick, economical, and professional electrical work. I needed to have a 240V line run for a new electric cooktop I was installing in my kitchen. This involved going through a pretty nasty crawl space. They did the job and patched the few holes they did put int he walls so all I have to do is get my touch up paint out and install the new cooktop. I highly recommend Electrical Buddy and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again."

"We hired McCormick for a bathroom remodel, and the whole process was smooth and professional. Khaled helped us make smart choices on design and materials that worked for both our budget and style. Now, our bathroom feels like a spa every time we step in. I appreciate the quality and attention to detail. These folks definitely know what they?re doing!"

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesRancho Mirage Electricians are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 131 reviews of 131 pros.
