"Very knowledgeable, friendly and knew exactly what needed to be done. Told me the price up front, and met the price in his workmanship. You can tell he is a Pro. Just go look inside his van which is cleaner than most people's houses and highly organized. I am planning on some other electrical work in the future. Jereramie is who I am going to hire fore sure. I highly recommend this Electrician."

"Going through a renovation on a late 1960s single story home, I needed to find someone who could do a full rewiring and panel upgrade. After searching for an electrician who I trusted and who has the same attention to detail as I do, I was fortunate to find Ian Walter of Purelight after getting a recommendation from one of my contractors. From the start, Ian has been professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and incredibly meticulous when it comes to both design and executing the plans for my entire project. He took on being point of contact for the power company and has gone out of his way to accommodate any of my concerns including being flexible for making changes as we go. Very reasonably and competitively priced, I've found my permanent electrician and can't recommend him enough."

"Rock Electric was great. We had electricity brought to a new shop in our backyard. The Rock people were on time, they stayed in touch while we were scheduling and rescheduling. The initial visit went well and all the little details were worked out in a straightforward manner. No issues when we requested the work be permitted either. They were accommodating and professional When there was a question about the trench we dug that we thought met specs they reached out immediately and made sure they were ok to proceed. The job was done quickly and the permitting inspection was also done at the same time. Great customer service. They did a fine job of staying in touch for time frames. After initially speaking with some other outfits that never got back to us or did not show or call for their scheduled appts it was refreshing to work with a group with conscientious, communicative, customer oriented people. We would definitely hire them again if a project comes up. Thanks guys."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesRENTON Electricians are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 2015 reviews of 2015 pros.
