"Chris is very professional and also knowledgeable about landscaping, grass, trees and lawn care. We hired C&C to trim 2 trees and remove another. The two trees that they trimmed were a Bradford Pear tree in our front yard and a very tall maple on the side of the house. They removed a dead Leyland Cypress from our back yard. Chris came out to the house for an estimate and described how he would go about handling the trees. The price was reasonable and he sounded qualified so we hired him. He had a crew of four gentlemen and they were efficient and careful in the trimming of the trees. They asked for my input as they went along to be sure that they did not trim too much. The trees look great and we have a lot more sun hitting our yard now, so hopeful the grass will start growing back. Chris also shared advice on how to help get our grass growing back again. "I closed on my home in the afternoon on a Thursday and these guys were out there Friday morning, and by Friday evening had painted my whole home, and had started ripping up the carpet to place the new flooring. This entire job was completed in four days. They came back twice to fix two little painting spots I needed fixed and did so without complaint. My next home projects are already in the planning process with Woodworxâ s. The entire crew was polite, professional, and on time every day. I was kept updated with progress, and with any information that needed to be relayed back to me, was done so in a timely manner, so that I could make a decision as to which way to go. "I was skeptical about contacting any one of the 3 business names that were initially given, especially after the first person who contacted me wanted so much money to remove a tree that was dead and leaning precariously too close to the power lines in my front yard leading to my house. The tree was a rotting pine that was without a top and was about 20-30 feet in height and rotting at its base. While I was at work, another contractor had come to my house and wanted $400.00 and the thing was, when questioned about his insurance, he was evasive and kept stating that the tree needed to come down at his price. His inability to give a reference to his bond, as well as, his price kept him out of my yard. However, while I was at lunch, Nelson, from Tarzan Tree, said he could go by my house and make a quick estimate and get back to me in about 35 minutes. Instead, I got a call from my wife in about 50 minutes. Her voice sounded as if she was wearing a smile. She stated that not only was Nelson was there, but he had removed the tree, and charged us a surprising sum. I could have sworn, that if it were not for the phone, it sounded like she might have been floating! Whether it be one tree or several more, alive or dead, Tarzan Tree Service, from now on, not only has our trust, but our business and our recommendation to anyone who will need their service.
