Comment: Current water heater is over 10 years old. Considering replacing before it fail and would like to explore the pros and cons of going tankless. One major issue with our current water flow is that the utility room is on the north side of the house but most of our water consumption (kitchen and master bath) are on the south side. We waste a lot of water waiting for hot water to reach these locations. Is there an option to put a secondary heat source in the line to provide more instantaneous hot water to these locations?
