Went so far as to move a couple bushes that were in the way of the new plantings. Did all the work by hand to avoid buried utilities and cleaned up everything perfecfly at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend them for any kind of landscape work, terrific trimming and removal, planing, fencing, etc. Two brothers and their father with a terrific crew of hard working experts. "Met the owner while he was trimming my neighbor's trees. I had a large 30-40' tree that needed to be removed right at my fence line. He gave me a quote on the spot that was $600 less expensive than what SavaTree wanted. Scheduled with me for a week later. They have a great reminder service, and he and his team arrived on-time. Its a young crew, but obviously very experienced and very polite. Took my tree down without damaging the fence. Did a great job of grinding up the stump and removing all of the debris. I told him that I had forgotten to include a couple of dead branches on my Honeylocust Tree. He had a pole pruner in his truck and removed the branches at no extra cost to me. He also quoted me a for treating my Crab Apple trees next Spring. It was a lot lower than my previous arborist. Tom has good communication skills. You always know what you are paying for when you read the invoice."

"Sam is wonderful. We needed a large pine brought down and the stump ground to accommodate a concrete pad for a shed going in quickly. He managed to fit us into his schedule to be just ahead of the concrete work. And his price was on par with another guy who wasn't letting me know his availability. I caught him just as he was finishing up. He told me the power lines were a challenge and that they broke a small landscape light (I had planned to have them removed anyway). Later, while prepping the area, my concrete guy called-- there still was a network of large roots that needed to come out. I called Sam and mentioned that I understood this was beyond the scope of work, but had I known while he was on site, we would have added to the bid. He understood my point and came out at the crack of dawn and took care of it! And, he'd only charge me for the rental of the stump grinder, no labor. This man is all above board, hard working, very knowledgable, and easy to work with. He could have abandoned the remaining work, but he didn't! I hired him to take down another large box elder tree, this time on HIS schedule in the winter, and to prune and treat our old elm in the front yard. My neighbor will likely hire him, too. Sam, the only reason you are a 5.0 is because there is nothing higher!!!"
