"I selected Mark Besnos and Horizon for an extensive interior remodel of my home. The project included removing a soffit ceiling in about half the house, installing a new support beam to eliminate a post, wainscoting in the living and dining room, hardwood flooring in the renovated areas (except the bathrooms), two new windows, and a new fireplace mantel. Mark has excellent taste. He was great at accommodating his visits to my work schedule. A project of this magnitude is bound to encounter some challenges, and Mark was good at explaining them and presenting options. The trades who worked on my home were top notch. Mark and his team were always on top of things, communicating often via email (my preference) and also texts. The end result has exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled with my new, open concept, home. The kitchen is amazing, the fireplace is a focal point, and I absolutely love my master bathroom. We had some fun with the guest bathroom as well. Bottom line, if someone leaves me a house in his or her will and I have to remodel it, I'm calling Mark."

His background in architecture intelligently informs his plans, and is probably at least partially responsible for his dedication to making sure that every detail of each room is as attractive as possible. Our formerly terrifying pit of a house is now a beautiful home for our family, and our dilapidated garage is now a stunning guest house. I canâ t recommend Sklar Construction enough.
