"All Solution Electric came and installed bathroom fans in two of my bathrooms, and were very patient and helpful throughout the process as some hurdles arose in terms of the fans I had bought being faulty (thanks cheap Amazon quality control), waiting while I ran to purchase a new fan that day, installing around the old construction ?character? of the house, and coming back to quickly fix a wiring issue. The price was also totally reasonable and I?d recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done. They?re great guys and I?ll work with them again if the need arises."

"Frank is awesome! Professional, on time, great work, and a great price. I got 3 different quotes from local electricians to upgrade my service to 200 amp. Not only did Frank have the best price, he was the only one with an itemized estimate, breaking down the materials, hourly rate and hours required. When he came by for a deposit I was worried Iâ d have to ask for a receipt, nope. He had one already printed out on company letter head ready to go. He arrived when he said he would, performed the work he promised, and communicated very well throughout the process. Another thing to add is his work is very detailed and neat. When the town inspector came by he commented how nice Frankâ s work was. Frank is an all around great electrician and a class act. Very hard to find a contractor like him these days, call Frank, you will not be disappointed."

"I am in the process of converting my basement room into a sewing/quilting studio & needed to add overhead lights to a drop down ceiling. I was also concerned with the overall wiring with my "cookie cutter home" . Bob from Sylvester Electric was the best! With his expertise Bob helped me figure out where in the studio the lights should be placed & correct/bring up to code the wiring mistakes that were made from the mid 90s when my house was built. Bob was courteous, friendly, and explained what steps he would be doing to add the lights & fix my wiring. Since my house was built in the mid 90s I know I will be calling them to replace my outdated lights in the entrance way and the kitchen. Sylvester Electric is the company to call for all your electrical problems."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesHudson Electricians are rated 4.7 out of 5 based on 1224 reviews of 1224 pros.
