"Could not have been more pleased. Jose and his 2-man crew were timely, professional, and clearly skilled. A new red oak floor was installed to replace the 100-yr old floor in the front rooms our home and the newer maple floor in the kitchen was sanded and re-finished. The preliminaries to set up for the project (submission of a proposal, contracting, and the delivery of materials) were attended to without a hitch, and the project itself started and ended on schedule. "I had a small job and trouble finding professional help for my small job replacing the shingles on the roof of my wood garden shed -- 12x6 size. Once I removed the tools inside to prepare for their work, I realized I also needed the floor replaced. They completed both jobs within a few hours; they cleaned up afterwards, I am now prepared for keeping my lawnmower and other tools dry and ready for next season. They were a pleasure to work with. "I hired them to do one job at first in my home which was pull up carpet and install laminate flooring. The work was excellent! I then hired in to remodel 3 of my rental properties bathrooms and one of them he did a total rehab of the entire building and itâ s is emasculate. Very professional always on time and was there everyday M- Friday and sometimes Saturday until the work was complete. What I loved the most was that some people take on more than one job and in doing so it takes them a much longer time to finish. "Alex and the team were absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the entire project. Our project was rather large it that it included 1.) weaving in new hardwood flooring into an existing hardwood floor in two places 2.) sanding the entire lower level 3.) sanding the stairs and 4.) sanding our upstairs hallway. We also replaced our stair newel posts and balusters, where Alex and his crew prepared the area and coordinated well with the separate master carpenter crew that performed the stair installation. Alex and his crew were also fantastic working through our stain preferences including stain type (DuraSeal) stain color, sealer (Bona Intense) and clear coat (Bona Traffic HD). The house literally looks brand new and we could not be more pleased. We interviewed 4 different contractors and chose KALS given we were able to actually inspect some previous work they had completed and were appropriately priced for the fantastic work they performed."
