"I was skeptical about contacting any one of the 3 business names that were initially given, especially after the first person who contacted me wanted so much money to remove a tree that was dead and leaning precariously too close to the power lines in my front yard leading to my house. The tree was a rotting pine that was without a top and was about 20-30 feet in height and rotting at its base. While I was at work, another contractor had come to my house and wanted $400.00 and the thing was, when questioned about his insurance, he was evasive and kept stating that the tree needed to come down at his price. His inability to give a reference to his bond, as well as, his price kept him out of my yard. However, while I was at lunch, Nelson, from Tarzan Tree, said he could go by my house and make a quick estimate and get back to me in about 35 minutes. Instead, I got a call from my wife in about 50 minutes. Her voice sounded as if she was wearing a smile.
