"It turned out that the dishwasher itself was not broken. Whomever had installed originally had not secured it properly to the countertop and that kept it from latching like it should. Mr. Pruitt explained all that and only charged me a trip charge. I will have my handyman secure it. He could have replaced the latch...had a new one with him...but was honest about the problem. I will certainly call him in the future."
