"Nick was very thorough and professional in diagnosing and offering solutions to our roofing problems. Of the four roofers we interviewed, Nick was the most attentive listener and most confidence inspiring. His crew was very polite and professional. I was impressed with their precision and how tidy their work was. Of the three problems Nick fixed for us, two of them were caused by improper material choices and bad installations by contractors we've hired in the past. It's a relief to know we won't have deal with that again. Highest recommendation."

The job was done in a timely matter. Not late but was done earlier. The price was reasonable and it fit my needs. Will definitely recomend."

Skylights, Roofing, Gutter Cleaning
"I wanted to wait for a bad rain storm and wind to see if the job was done well, and I can say it was an excellent job. Overall, I was very happy with them. They came to fix our leaking skylights. The two offered the best price (beating three other quotes) and were able to quickly complete the job the next day. I really appreciate that they didn't give a quote and then said they need 3 weeks to show up. The replaced shingles and ice shield are holding up well, made it through the past several rain storms and really strong winds. They cleaned up and made sure no nails were around in the yard, that was great. If we decide to replace the whole main roof in the future, I would not hesitate to call them and get a new quote and let them do the job. Definitely call them and let them give you an estimate!!!!!!!"

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesFreeport Electricians are rated 4.6 out of 5 based on 391 reviews of 391 pros.
