"Gary is very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose quickly the electrical problem we were experiencing. This was an ongoing electrical problem that three other electricians could not solve. Gary diagnosed the problem and we no longer have to tolerate flickering / dimming lights in our home! Gary was very responsive, contacting us within a short period of time after we requested a quote. He was flexible with scheduling an appointment, which we appreciated with our hectic, family schedule. Great communication. He reached out to us when he finished up a job early and asked if he could come over directly. He let us know what he was doing every step of the way and welcomed any questions we asked. Reasonably priced. Gary knows his stuff. Highly recommended. We will be calling him for all future electrical needs. Thanks!"

"Chris and Matt came in and installed two bathroom exhaust fans for me. They worked in tandem, one in each bathroom, and had the fans installed in 3.5 hours. Chris and Matt were also very patient as we had to work around some complications with the fans I had purchased as well as my old house. In the end, the job was completed well, on time, and at a very fair price, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing electrical work."

"We were very happy with the work.Eric was easy to work with. He installed a new 220 circuit and was able to fish it though the walls harmlessly whereas other electricians we talk with were going to tear up the drywall. Pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend."

"This a a great company with a great crew! They were prompt, worked hard while they were here, cleaned up, and were polite and knowledgeable. They were able to get the lights on our deck done quickly as they had a two man crew. Bob knew what we wanted and was able to recommend the perfect system for us! Highly recommend this company."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesDover Electricians are rated 0.0 out of 5 based on 0 reviews of 0 pros.
