We had a difficult project: installing a tile facade over a 25' brick fireplace in our home. After a week of treading carefully on scaffolding and essentially performing a highwire act, our new fireplace is stunning. We are grateful for his services and will hire him again in the future. I should mention that working at such heights was not his favorite part of the job (although he was quite cheerful about it) so don't be surprised if he is not eager to do it again. But his advice, preparation, tile installation, clean-up and work ethic were outstanding."

"What Frank and Eric actually did was a renovation of my very old, outdated, kitchen. They did a removal of a drop ceiling, repaired original ceiling with drywall, installed recessed lighting as well as a new modern light above sink, painted the kitchen, installed new cabinets along with a kitchen pantry and a new kitchen floor. They also replaced electrical outlets as well as installed new appliances I ordered. The work that Frank and Eric performed deserves the highest rating a person could receive. "Eric and John did a fantastic job. They were professional, friendly and had a vast amount of pride in the work being done. They also replaced a door and windows in my mudroom. It was also re-sided and during this, Eric found a live wire. He not only took care of it, he used it to install a weatherproof outlet that was sorely needed. While replacing my porch flooring, Eric discovered the floor joists were not equal and the floorboards were actually doubled. (My house is old and built in sections.) He did the addition work needed and did a great job of it. Everyone who sees the porch and mudroom comments on what a great job he did. After years of trying to get service people to estimate jobs, show up on time, or show up on the date they say, and do decent not shoddy work, Eric is a true professional! I have some projects I'm thinking of in the future, and Matson Diversified Services will, with out a doubt, be the only call I make."

My primary installation order with Lowe's fell thru because they changed installers so I had to do a last moment order with Empire Today - the whole thing from the estimate to installation took less than a week and I had a terrific experience with Tom A (sales agent) along with the install process (call-ahead, call-during to check on progress) and follow-up. I'm a little shocked - did I get lucky or are all these people rating them low crazy? Who knows - I'll be using Empire Today for carpeting projects in the future definitely. My last-minute carpeting project came cheaper and faster than anything I've experienced with Lowe's so far."
