"Workmen were late showing up, but I was contacted to let me know this would be the case. Once at my home, it was clear they wanted to do a very good job and to satisfy the customer. The job was tiling a kitchen backsplash using a tumbled porcelain tile. The end result is beautiful and very well done. The two gentlemen who did the work made sure to protect the brand new countertops as they worked, and they were very thorough in cleaning up afterward. Highly recommended."

"On a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the highest possible score. I would rate the work as being an 8 maybe. The kitchen looks very nice. I like the layout and the extra cabinet and counter space. Marble flooring is built to last. But without proper maintenance, the floors can start to lose their sheen or absorb stains. When your marble floors and features were first installed, the sealant kept wear and tear at bay. But using the wrong cleaning agents or letting the sealant get too thin can damage your marble. Find a local marble restoration service who can make the surfaces look like new again.

Just like marble, granite and travertine surfaces need a bit of regular care. The faster you call in a restoration company after noticing dulled luster and stains, the better. Look for marble floor restorers who:

  • Pull out deep set stains.
  • Remove scratches and etches in the marble.
  • Apply high-quality protective sealants to protect your floors better.
  • Recommend pH-neutral cleaning agents that can keep your restored floors gleaming.

When marble floors are properly restored and maintained, they look timeless and beautiful. Type in your zip code and HomeAdvisor will find marble floor restoration companies in your area.
