Comment: Hello,
I am looking to have a snow removal service on file for Jody's Inc, located at 2842 Cromwell road, Norfolk VA, 23509. Below are the requirements that we would need. Is this something that you can help with?
-The contractor will begin plowing at the Property as soon as snow or ice reaches a depth of 2 inches at the property, unless otherwise authorized by Agent, regardless of the time of day or night or the day of the week. The contractor is required to seek prior authorization of the Agent should additional plowing during a snow event be required.
-All Fire Hydrants must be kept free from snow and easily accessible in case of emergencies.
-There will be no mobilization fee of equipment to the site unless it has been previously approved by Agent.
-Use of non-salt based chemical deicers is permissible. No other melting catalysts are to be used without the proper approval of the Agent. Contractors shall apply calcium chloride on sidewalks and walkways.
-Contractor should visit site prior to snow event to place curb flags on the property to indicate locations but no limited to, parking blocks, curbs and islands.
-Contractor shall hold additional snow insurance and shall be responsible for damages to the Property caused by snow plowing operation including, but not limited to, buildings, curbs, parking blocks, islands, sidewalks, light poles, signs, landscaping, paving, or striping of the Property or equipment used in connect therewith. The contractor will be responsible for damages to plant material only if removal of excess snow is authorized and paid for by the Owner.
-Contractor shall not create drifts in front of dumpster enclosures, fire lanes, or entrances, on sidewalks or blocking walkways, and handicapped parking and agrees to remove Contractor created drift at no additional cost. If contractor does not remove the drifts in front of the fire lanes and dumpster enclosures, Contractor agrees to pay any expenses incurred by Owner for removal of said drifts.
