"Great work, and these guys really into old slate! commented many times about the condition of my "green and grey Vermont slate "roof. An education for me, as I'm into old house stuff - this one's about 100yrs. They recover slate from demolitions when available. Don't forget to ask them what else they can do while they're up on the roof..ended up w slate roof tune up inc repainting valleys, a new section of gutter, new rake aluminum siding, having the peak painted, and chimney repointed! all for around $2500. (Thier initial estimate just for the roof was $1200. another contractor gave me an estimate of $1400 just fort he rake siding.) They did spot a divot on the porch roof, but they dont do asphalt shingles. They also traveled each of the 2 project days from Pennsylvania to Cleveland, Ohio. Surprised me that they were considered local by Homeadvisor."
